There are many installers available for Eclipse based on what you need: https://eclipse.org/downloads/index-developer-default.php. Here in this article we will see the steps for ‘Kepler’ version of Eclipse. One thing more which is very important to know is that, Kepler version is meant for Java 7 but it can work with Java 8 using a patch installation.

How to Install Eclipse :

Step 1) Now to start with, first step is to go to : http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/packages/eclipse-standard-432/keplersr2 and click on ‘Download’ to get the eclipse Kepler installer. Before you actually download any of these, you MUST know the type of windows you have. Is it 64 bit or 32 bit or if you have Linux operating system. So choose your installer accordingly.

I have spent almost 10 years playing around Java and related technologies. I love to write on different topics and would be very much willing to hear back your feedback/suggestions on them. This site is a medium to share my knowledge with the Java folks and grow further. My other interests include traveling, driving, swimming and dance. But yes, my web site has become my passion over the time :) I live in Scotland and travel to India often, my roots being there.
